The Borough of Naugatuck will host all Land Use board meetings remotely and in person until further notice. Public attendance is allowed in Town Hall. Public Comment or Testimony can be accepted via email in written form at ecarter@naugatuck-ct.gov prior to a meeting. Members of the public may also testify by video during these meetings. Name and address will be required to comment.

Please Note: Meetings are broadcast via Zoom as a convenience and connectivity issues with sound and picture may arise during the meeting broadcast. Public may attend meetings in person.

MEETING AGENDA

 

Please be advised that the Zoning Commission Meeting scheduled on Wednesday January 15, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. will be held in person for the Zoning Commission Members and Applicants in the Hall of Burgesses 4th Floor Town Hall, 229 Church St. The meeting will be held virtually via ZOOM for members of the Public. Public may attend.

 

1.   Call to order, pledge of allegiance and attendance will be taken. After determination of a quorum, Alternates will be designated as voting members, if necessary.

 

2.    Approval of the December 11, 2024 Special Meeting Minutes and the December 18, 2024 Regular Meeting Minutes and the secretary will sign previously approved minutes.

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS

 

  1. PUBLIC HEARING: 6:05 P.M. – Proposed Text Change Request to PDD-12 of the Naugatuck Land Use Regulations Sec.71.7 Bulk Standards Sec.6.4a Adjoining properties (not in subdivision) for the proposed gym setback, Applicant; Yeshivas Ohr Hachaim and KT Estates, LLC.

    Public hearing opens 1/15/25 must close by 2/19/25 unless an extension is requested by applicant.

  1. Commission discussion/decision for a Site Plan Modification for a proposed CO2 Storage Tank for the property located at 10 East Waterbury Rd., Applicant; Pinto Capital Group, LLC.

     

  2. Commission discussion/decision to ratify a change of use request for a proposed retail store for the property located at 1186 New Haven Rd., Applicant; Lewis and Associates.
