  • Leaves and pine needles are collected curbside 3 weeks in the fall and 1 week in the spring. They are only accepted in 30 gallon paper bags and are picked up on your regular trash day. Please have the Bagged leaves at the curb the night before your regular trash collection day.

     

    Curbside Leaf Collection Weeks for 2018 are:

     

    October 22 through October 26

    November 13 through November 16 collections will be delayed slightly due to Veterans Day

    November 26 through November 30

  • Leaves and pine needles are accepted year round at the Recycling Center, in paper bags only.

     

  • It is extremely important to put only leaves or other soft yard waste in the paper bags when they are brought to the Center or left for curbside collection. For example; weeds, straw, and dead flowers can all be placed in the paper bags with the leaves. They will be composted and turned into a usable and high quality garden product.

     

  • No Grass Clippings will be collected with household or bulk trash. Grass clippings can be used as mulch, left on your lawn (either using a mulching lawn mower or regular mower), or put in a backyard compost pile along with leaves and other plant material. Grass can be disposed of with leaves in paper bags at the Recycle Center or with leaves during scheduled curbside leaf collection weeks.

    Brush and branches, no larger than 5 to 6 inches in diameter, and between 2 feet and 6 feet long can be brought to the Recycling Center. Small pieces of trimmings, thorns, and vines can be put out for regular trash collection. The Recycle Center is open Thursday & Saturday 8 am to 2 pm.

     

  • This program is for small amounts of brush or branches. We accept bushes, tree trimmings, storm damaged branches, etc. If you need a tree or a portion of a tree removed, or need to clear several trees off a lot, please arrange for that service with a private landscaping or tree company.

     

    c Christmas Trees cccccc Curbside or Recycle Center

     

  • Curbside, 1 week in January, Tentatively Scheduled for 2019 January 14th Trough January 18th weather dependent. Or at the Recycle Center, remove plastic bag, decorations etc.
