Good Morning,
I want to bring to your attention our SBA Connecticut District Office eblast which was sent out yesterday. It includes updates to SBA administered COVID-19 Federal Relief programs including breaking news on the $28 billion Restaurant Relief (RRF) funding. Specifically, SBA Administrator Guzman announced two key dates for the RRF:
- RRF registrations open Friday, April 30, 2021, at 9 a.m. EDT (Eastern Daylight Time)
- RRF applications open on NEXT Monday, May 3, 2021, at noon EDT (Eastern Daylight Time)
Included below are also numerous information session to join over the next week. Please consider sharing this information with the all the food and beverage businesses in your community. The RRF is not a loan – it doesn’t need to be repaid if used on eligible expenses (i.e. a grant).
Also included is an update on PPP, Connecticut businesses and entities have received approvals of over $3 billion in Paycheck Protection loans for 2021! The link for more detail is below. Please note, the program will end May 31st 2021 or went authorized funds are exhausted.
Lastly, the Shuttered Venue Operator Grant portal re-opened this Monday and we have received very positive feedback from many CT applicants.
This past year has been an extortionary challenge for our families, communities and businesses. As the SBA Connecticut District Office continues our outreach on the Federal COVID-19 programs/resources, we truly appreciate your partnership.
Be well,
Catherine
