Contaminated Soil and/or Sediment Management (Staging and Transfer)

 

 

Notice is hereby given that the Borough of Naugatuck will hold an informal public meeting on the General Permit Registration for the Contaminated Soil and/or Sediment Management (Staging and Transfer) located at 211 Spring Street  Naugatuck CT,  on Tuesday , November 1, 2011 at 5:00 pm in the Commissioners Corner at the Naugatuck Town Hall, 229 Church Street, Naugatuck CT. The purpose of the informal meeting is to promote public awareness, environmental justice and obtain input pertaining temporary storage of Contaminated Soil at 211 Spring Street, Naugatuck, CT, 05770. The meeting will consist of an informal discussion regarding the temporary storage of contaminated soil. Public question and comments are encouraged.  A copy of the permit application materials is available for review  at the Public Works Office 246 Rubber Ave, Naugatuck, CT between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday and on the Town Web site. http://www.naugatuck-ct.gov   (Notices & Announcements).  Questions and comments regarding the project should be directed to James Stewart, Director of Public Works, jstewart@naugatuck-ct.gov or (203) 720-7071.
