INVITATION TO BID
Sealed proposals will be received by the Purchasing Office, Borough of Naugatuck,
Town Hall, 229 Church Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770 until Monday, December 5, 2011
at 11:00 A.M.
Contract # 12-02 Bid Request for the purchase of used department equipment items.
All individual vehicle / equipment items are to sold in “as is” condition and the Borough
of Naugatuck shall be held harmless against any and all claims as to overall condition and
or defects in operating capacities. All sales are final!
Successful bidder must remove vehicle / equipment from the Street Department premises
no later than December 16, 2011 and shall pay for all associated costs. Payment shall be
by Certified Bank Check. No cash and no personal checks will be accepted.
Please make all certified checks payable to: Borough of Naugatuck.
The Borough of Naugatuck reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in
part, including low bid, to make partial awards, to waive any irregularity in any
quotation, to increase or decrease quantities if quantities are listed in the bid, and may
reject any bid that shows any omission alterations of form, additions not called for
conditions, or alternate proposals and may make any such award that is deemed to be in
the best interest of the Borough of Naugatuck.
All items for sale are able to be viewed at the Street Dept.Garage 510 Rubber Avenue,
between the hours of 8:00 am – 2:00 pm / Monday through Friday.
