INVITATION TO BID
Borough of Naugatuck
Sealed bids will be received and opened at the Borough of Naugatuck, Town Hall, Purchasing Office(located in the basement), 229 Church Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770, on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for supplying The Borough of Naugatuck with the following:
ROOFTOP GAS\ELECTRIC HVAC UNIT @ NAUGATUCK FIRE HEADQUARTERS, 41 MAPLE STREET, NAUGATUCK, CT
Copies of the bid documents may be obtained at the Office of the Purchasing Agent. Bid documents can also be obtained from the Borough of Naugatuck web site http://www.naugatuck-ct.gov
. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
The Borough of Naugatuck reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Rooftop Gas\Electric HVAC Unit
Naugatuck Fire Headquarters, 41 Maple Street, Naugatuck, CT
Labor and material to install one (1) Trane 7.5 ton high efficiency packaged gas\electric rooftop unit, Model YHC092F3RHA-0. Bid to include:
Gas heat
Convertible operation
7.5 ton dual compressor
Microprocessor controls
High gas heat
Dry bulb economize
Barometric relief
Adapter curb
Gas piping
Ductwork transitions, sealed in water tight insulation, VentureClad or equal
Replace existing curb box
All rigging and crane work
New electrical from disconnect box to RTU
One (1) Honeywell Pro 6000 thermostat
Removal and proper disposal of existing equipment
OSHA approved temporary fall restraint system
Start up and test for proper operation
Replacement work to be coordinated with contractor replacing the roof where unit is located.
