10/14/2014 - Budget Referendum to be held on October 14, 2014
REFERENDUM
The electors of the Town and Borough of Naugatuck are hereby warned to meet at the polling place in said Town and Borough on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 for the following purposes: to wit;
To vote on the following questions:

QUESTIONS
Shall the Town Operating Budget of $52,492,890 for the Borough of Naugatuck for the fiscal year 2014/2015 be adopted?
Yes
No- Too High
No- Too Low

Shall the Board of Education Budget of $61,100,000 for the Borough of Naugatuck for the fiscal year 2014/2015 be adopted?
Yes
No- Too High
No- Too Low

This action is taken in accordance with the Charter of the Town and Borough of Naugatuck and was passed by votes of the Board of Mayor and Burgesses on September 22, 2014.

The vote by voting machine will be conducted on October 14, 2014 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the following location:

FOR THIS REFERENDUM VOTE, ALL NAUGATUCK VOTERS
WILL VOTE AT ONE LOCATION:
NAUGATUCK HISTORICAL SOCIETY/RAILROAD STATION
195 WATER STREET, NAUGATUCK, CT 06770

Absentee Ballots shall be available for the referendum in accordance with Section 9-369c of the Connecticut General Statutes until October 13, 2014 during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Borough Clerk’s Office, Fourth Floor, Naugatuck Town Hall, 229 Church Street. Central Counting of absentee ballots will begin at 4:00 p.m. on October 14, 2014 in the Town Hall, Naugatuck, CT.
