The Borough of Naugatuck will host all Land Use board meetings remotely and in person until further notice. Public attendance is allowed in Town Hall. Public Comment or Testimony can be accepted via email in written form at ecarter@naugatuck-ct.gov prior to a meeting. Members of the public may also testify by video during these meetings. Name and address will be required to comment.

 Please be advised that the Zoning Commission Meeting scheduled on Wednesday July 16, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. will be held in person for the Zoning Commission Members and Applicants in the Hall of Burgesses 4th Floor Town Hall, 229 Church St. The meeting will be held virtually via ZOOM for members of the Public. Public may attend.

 

1.   Call to order, pledge of allegiance and attendance will be taken. After determination of a quorum, Alternates will be designated as voting members, if necessary.

 

2.    Approval of the June 18, 2025 Regular Meeting Minutes and the secretary will sign previously approved minutes.

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS

 

  1. Cont’d PUBLIC HEARING: 6:10 P.M. – Special Permit Application to remove up to 1000 cubic

yards of earth material to build a new house for the property located at 229 City Hill St., Applicant; Maikol Sanchez.

Public hearing opens 6/18/25 must close by 7/22/25 unless extension is requested

 

3.    OLD BUSINESS:

 

  1. Commission discussion/ decision for a proposed Zone Change from R-8 to RA-2 for the property located at 684 Field St (Acct# 013-2400), RADD to RA-2 for the properties located at 0 Millville Ave (Acct# 013-2510) and 0 Millville Ave (Acct# 013-2402) 0 Millville Ave (Acct# 013-2403) 684 Millville Ave (Acct# 013-2500), Applicant: JP Connelly, LLC and Seamus Connelly.
