The Department Duties are:
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date computerized voter registry
- Conduct all federal/state, and local elections and primaries within the Borough of Naugatuck
- Prepare department budgets
- Select and train all poll workers and other election officials
- Responsible for voter education and organizing the annual canvass of electors
- Increase voter registration and participation

Dates and Deadlines
Generally, you must submit a request to change parties in order to vote in your new party no later than 90 days before the party primary. This can be done online, via DMV, by mail or in person at the RoV office. Connecticut begins early voting in 2024. Early Voting in Naugatuck will be held at Naugatuck Parks and Recreation Building (Fmr. Armory).
